Steven Tyler To Host First Charity Gala In Name Of Janie’s Fund
Steven Tyler has announced the inaugural Janie’s Fund gala night, which will take place on Jan. 28 at Red Studios in Hollywood. He launched the charity in 2015, dedicated to providing protection and counseling for young female victims of abuse, and it’s raised over $2.5 million since then. Janie’s House – named after Aerosmith’s 1989 track “Janie’s Got a Gun” – was established last year in the Atlanta Metro Area to offer shelter from the victims of abuse or neglect, with space for 30 live-in clients and 24-hour medical facilities available.
