Whitford St. Holmes hit the road last night playing the first show of their 12 city tour in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Potawatomi Casino. The set was split up into 3 sections. The first section was all new songs from their soon to be released album called “Reunion”. Stand outs were Flood of Lies and Shapes. Shapes is Brad’s tip of the hat to The Yardbirds. Announcing the return of @Whitford St. Holmes! Brad Whitford and Derek St. Holmes have reunited for an amazing new record that will be released in the spring of 2016! Also joining the band on drums is Troy Luccketta of @Tesla The Band, bassist Chopper Anderson and keyboardist Buck Johnson. WSH will be hitting the road for a two-week run beginning November 12th in Milwaukee, WI, and will also be simultaneously releasing a newly remastered version of their 1981 self-titled debut record. The new band got the gig because Joe Perry‘s mother, who worked at a nearby school, knew someone at Miscoe Hill, which was then known as Nipmuc Regional High School, and helped set it up. At the time, Ray Tabano was on rhythm guitar. He would be replaced by Brad Whitford a year later. Tickets for the show cost about a dollar.

Photographer Ron Pownall, who started working with Aerosmith in '72, was there and captured showstopping shots of the band in action.
